Questions
Frequently asked.
How do you keep doors on schedule with the site?
We plan production backwards from your floor-by-floor dates and confirm each batch before it is produced. See our scheduled production.
Who is responsible for inspection?
The installer and the owner. We supply listed, labeled doors with the documents; installation per NFPA 80 and the acceptance test are on site.
Can you supply frames and hardware as one package?
On request we quote the complete opening. Otherwise we coordinate with your frame and hardware suppliers so all parts match the listing.
Code summary for orientation, based on the International Building Code (IBC), NFPA 80, NFPA 105 and the 2010 ADA Standards. Requirements depend on the code edition your jurisdiction has adopted and on local amendments. The architect of record and the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) decide for your project.
