For millwork shops and cabinet makers
Rated doors for the jobs you build.
Your shop builds the casework, paneling and reception desks. The fire-rated doors in the same room need a listing you do not have. We supply them, matched to your work.
- Veneer matched to your panels and casework
- Factory-machined, so the label stays valid
- Shipped with your millwork or to site
Why shops buy rated doors instead of building them
- A fire door label requires a listing with UL or Intertek and regular follow-up inspections of the plant building it
- A door built in an unlisted shop cannot be labeled, however good the craftsmanship
- Cutting a labeled blank for lites, louvers or new sizes voids the label, unless your shop is authorized for that work (see our machining partner program)
- Factory machining for hardware is the safe way to deliver a door that passes
How we work with your shop
- You send the door schedule, hardware sets and the veneer or finish you are using
- We match species, cut and finish to your casework, or send you veneer samples
- Rated and non-rated doors come in one order with the same face
- You stay the contractor to your client; we deliver neutrally on request

Questions
Frequently asked.
Can I hang and install the doors myself?
Yes. Installation must follow NFPA 80 and the manufacturer's instructions, and the opening is inspected after installation. Keep the field work to what NFPA 80 allows.
Can you match my stain?
Send a stained sample or the finish spec. Doors can be factory-finished to match, or delivered sanded for finishing with your casework where the listing allows.
Do you sell under your name to my client?
No. We supply you, and on request ship in neutral packaging with your references on the labels.
Code summary for orientation, based on the International Building Code (IBC), NFPA 80, NFPA 105 and the 2010 ADA Standards. Requirements depend on the code edition your jurisdiction has adopted and on local amendments. The architect of record and the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) decide for your project.
